These terms explain how Mr. Cooper self-drive bookings work, what customers must bring, how vehicles can be used, and how charges, deposits, cancellations, damage, tolls, and support issues are handled.
Mr. Cooper Self Driving Car Rentals is operated by Cooper Drive Tech. These terms apply when you browse our website, submit a booking request, confirm a self-drive rental, use a vehicle, contact support, or use any related service from us.
By submitting a booking request, making a payment, accepting handover, or using a vehicle, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms along with the booking-specific rules shared by our team.
Website bookings are requests until our team verifies availability, customer details, vehicle allocation, payment or deposit requirements, and pickup timing. A car is confirmed only after we clearly confirm the booking through our website, WhatsApp, phone, email, payment link, or other official channel.
Vehicle model, variant, colour, registration number, pickup time, included kilometres, security deposit, and final payable amount may depend on availability, tariff version, booking duration, location, and customer verification.
Customers must be legally eligible to drive in India and must carry original documents at pickup. We may refuse or cancel handover if documents are incomplete, unverifiable, expired, altered, mismatched, or inconsistent with the booking details.
Mr. Cooper currently supports vehicle collection and return from Arekere, Bangalore, unless our team confirms a different arrangement. Customers should arrive on time with the required documents and complete the vehicle condition check before taking possession.
The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time and location, with the same documents, keys, accessories, FASTag, tools, tyre, plates, and other items provided at handover. Late return, unapproved extension, wrong-location return, missing items, cleaning, fuel, or recovery requirements may attract additional charges.
Prices shown on the website are indicative for the selected car and duration and may be updated due to live availability, offers, tariff changes, extra services, taxes, payment gateway charges, or booking-specific requirements. The final payable amount will be the amount confirmed for your booking.
Security deposit, approved collateral, advance payment, full rental payment, or payment-link completion may be required before handover. Deposit handling is explained in the Security Deposit and Damage Policy.
Every booking may include a kilometre allowance based on the selected duration and vehicle. Extra kilometres, unapproved excess hours, trip extensions, route changes, and additional usage are chargeable at the rate communicated for the vehicle or booking.
Customers should request an extension before the scheduled return time. Extension approval depends on vehicle availability, payment completion, and admin confirmation.
Vehicles are provided for lawful self-drive personal travel by the approved customer and approved additional driver, if any. The customer remains responsible for the vehicle, passengers, documents, keys, and charges throughout the rental period.
The vehicle must not be used in any way that violates law, insurance terms, safety rules, booking instructions, or these terms.
Fuel is normally the customer responsibility unless a booking-specific offer states otherwise. Customers should return the car with the agreed fuel level and pay for fuel differences, refuelling support, tolls, parking, state permits, entry fees, challans, towing, impound, and any penalties linked to their rental period.
Traffic violations or toll charges may arrive after the trip. The customer must pay those charges even if they are discovered after deposit release or booking closure.
Customers must use the vehicle carefully and immediately report warning lights, punctures, breakdowns, accident, theft, seizure, damage, challans, or third-party incidents. Do not abandon the vehicle or arrange unauthorised repair without our approval unless immediate action is required by law or safety.
Damage, missing items, misuse, accident cost, insurance excess, claim rejection, downtime, towing, cleaning, and legal or recovery expenses may be charged to the customer where attributable to the booking, misuse, negligence, breach of terms, or unreported incident.
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and no-show handling is governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy and by the booking-specific terms shared at confirmation. Refunds may be adjusted for cancellation fees, payment gateway costs, vehicle blocking, pending dues, damage, tolls, challans, fuel, extra usage, or other recoverable charges.
By contacting us or submitting a booking, you allow us to contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS, email, website notifications, payment links, or other service channels for booking confirmation, verification, support, payment, refund, trip updates, policy updates, and related service communication.
We work to provide clean, well-maintained, fully functional vehicles, but service may be affected by breakdowns, prior customer delays, accident, maintenance, weather, strikes, road closures, payment gateway issues, verification issues, force majeure, or events outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for a booking is limited to the amount paid to us for that booking, excluding third-party costs, indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profit, missed travel plans, or customer-incurred expenses.
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India. For questions, support, disputes, or policy requests, contact Cooper Drive Tech at bookings@mrcoopercars.com or +91 63693 62832.
This page is written for the current Mr. Cooper website booking workflow. Final booking-level amounts, documents, limits, and exceptions may also be shared at confirmation or vehicle handover.
